Kyle Rogers joined WHSV-TV in 2016 and serves as Assistant News Director and anchor of WHSV News at 6, The Valley's FOX News at 10 and WHSV News at 11.

Before joining WHSV, Kyle reported on the day's top stories at CBS 21 News in Harrisburg, Pa. and WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pa. Throughout college, he worked as an on-air personality at WIKZ-FM MIX95.1 in Chambersburg, Pa. and WITF Public Media in Harrisburg.

Born in Winchester, Kyle was raised in Chambersburg, Pa. where he went to high school and is a graduate of Shippensburg University.

His first 'break' into the business started when he was 13-years-old. After seeing a report on 'Entertainment Tonight' of a new national newscast for teenagers reported by teenagers, he wrote an e-mail to the producer of the show and ultimately hosted segments for the program throughout high school.

Involved in the community, Kyle serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County and Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance. Every year, he co-hosts 'Top Chef: Harrisonburg' which benefits Blue Ridge CASA for Children.

 

Kyle is a regional Vice President for the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
